Monday 5th July - Light Show

It's tropical cyclone season here at the moment, so it's not uncommon to to see flashes of lightning. However tonight the spectacle was more beautiful than anything I've seen before.

Lasting around 15mins it was such a pleasure to be able to stand on the rooftop and admire the natural phenomenon.

With my faithfully old and battered camera I waited patiently hoping to capture even just a moment of this spectacle. After taking around a hundred or so photos only one or two captured those stunning lightning bolts.
